THIS MONTH’S ATTRIBUTE OF GOD IS: Jesus is Lord of all.
Jesus is Lord of all—over rules, nature, people and even time itself. Jesus prioritized people over societal expectations, met earthly needs and broke through household tasks to draw people towards Himself. Alongside His humanity, Jesus also revealed His true divine nature on the mountaintop proving that we can trust Him as our Savior.
THIS MONTH’S UNIT TITLE IS: Extraordinary
Like a good science experiment, Jesus is truly extraordinary—nothing and no one in this world compares to Him! He often surprises us in unexpected ways, showing up in moments we least expect with love, power and grace that go beyond anything we’ve ever known. His words, miracles and compassion set Him apart from everyone else. Jesus isn’t just extraordinary in what He does—He invites us into an extraordinary relationship with Him, one filled with purpose, hope, and unmatched love.

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1–14)
The Pharisees were angry that Jesus’ disciples ate grain in a field on the Sabbath. The disciples had broken one of the many rules the Pharisees had created about the Sabbath. Jesus told them He was Lord of the Sabbath. Then He angered them again when He healed a man with a withered arm on the Sabbath. Jesus showed He is Lord of all and taught that following rules isn’t enough to be right with God.
People still think that the way to God is to follow rules. Sometimes people try to do all the things right on the outside, but their hearts are far from truly loving and trusting Him. We can never follow all the rules. We all sin. That is why Jesus came to die on the cross and pay the price for our sin. We cannot earn our way to heaven by following the rules, but we can trust in Him and His gift of salvation because Jesus is Lord of all!
